UBCD4Win là một một tiện ích tạo đĩa khởi động Windows XP từ đĩa CD, kèm theo các trình cần thiết cho quá trình chuẩn đoán, đánh giá, phục hồi, sửa chữa máy tính. Nền tảng dựa trên Bart's PEBulder.
Lợi điểm của người dùng khi sử dụng UBCD4Win so với Bart's PE nguyên thủy là UBCD4Win tập hợp sẵn các trình tiện ích kiểm tra phần cứng, phần mềm sẵn sàng cho đĩa CD boot của bạn. Bên cạnh đó UBCD4Win còn giúp giải quyết được điều bất tiện của Bart's PE là Bart's PE cần bạn phải có đĩa CD SP1 , trong khi rất nhiều người chúng ta chỉ có đĩa windows XP nguyên thủy. UBCD4Win đã giải quyết được bằng cách tạo trên 1 trình giúp ta "cấy" bổ sung lên file ảnh service pack 1 hoặc 2 trong trường hợp đĩa Windows XP setup của ta là đĩa không bao gồm Service Pack. Song song đó, trình tự tiến hành tạo đĩa cũng dễ dàng hơn so với Bart's PE Builder nguyên thủy. Nhưng dù sao, bạn cũng phải đọc kỹ hướng dẫn sử dụng trước khi tiến hành.
Các trình kèm theo trong tiện ích này có hầu như đủ để bạn sửa chữa hệ thống của bạn. Tuy nhiên, dù gì đi nữa thì đĩa boot được tạo ra cũng chỉ nhằm mục đích làm đĩa phục hồi sửa chữa hệ thống của bạn chứ không thể thay cho hệ thống của bạn được.
UBCD4Win là tiện ích miễn phí, các trình tiện ích chuẩn bị sẵn để bạn kèm trên đĩa boot CD cũng là trình miễn phí. do đó, bạn không cần phải quan tâm vấn đề bản quyền sử dụng ngoại trừ bản quyền của Windows XP của bạn.
